Short Jacks Two Home Runs in 18-4 Kansas City Win
Led by 22-year-old David Short, the Kansas City Dust Devils knocked off the St. Catharines Blue Jays, 18-4. Short went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice for the Dust Devils. Mario Guillen was credited with the save, his 1st in 1 tries. By defeating St. Catharines, the 5th-place Dust Devils improved to 48-61.
