Blue Jays Come Up Short at Huntsville, 3-2
|
The Huntsville Rockets wanted a good start from Tim Sindt -- and he delivered one. The result was a 3-2 Huntsville win over the St. Catharines Blue Jays at Ballpark of Austin. Rich Sargent nailed down the save. The second-place Rockets now have a win-loss record of 55-53.
Making an impact for the home team was Rich Lewis. In the bottom of the third, the 23-year old left fielder had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 3-0, Rockets.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said St. Catharines skipper Walt DeRosier.
