Dust Devils Pull Out Late-Game Win, 4-3
|
The St. Catharines Blue Jays got a sterling performance from pitcher Jeremy Foss, but the Kansas City Dust Devils still prevailed, 4-3. Foss threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball. Kansas City pitcher Ed Senter got the win, upping his record to 1-3. Darius Timmons got the loss. The Dust Devils now have a mark of 47-61.
Francisco Flores hit a bases-clearing triple off Darius Timmons in the top of the eighth, which put the Dust Devils in front, 4-2. Flores had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
Flores told a Kansas City Times reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
