Syfrett Lifts Trolls to 8-5 Win
The Tyler Trolls grabbed a win, 8-5, over the Newark Flyers at Newark Fields. Tyler designated hitter Ryan Syfrett went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 runs. Getting the save was Justin Pratt, his 18th. Tyler goes to 52-55, Newark to 54-53.

Eric Jubin had a big bases-clearing triple for the Trolls in the top of the second inning. With Tyler trailing 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from 19-year old left-handed pitcher Craig Breakfield and swatted a triple to right. It was his 5th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Trolls ahead, 3-2.

"Glad to get this win," said Syfrett. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
