Ambassadors Get One-Run Win at Grand Rapids
The Fremont Ambassadors beat the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks, 7-6, in part because of second baseman Charlie Jones. He went 2 for 5 with 2 triples. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Fremont, with the win, sits at 34-71.

Fremont used the bat of Ray Alleyne to get the win. The center fielder hit a fastball from Ben Wiggins out of the park for a 3-run home run. The blast came in the top of the second inning and put the Ambassadors on top, 3-0. It was Alleyne's lone hit, but it left a mark.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Jones told the Fremont Times.
