Deltaville Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Martin
The Cottage City Cannonballers overcame a good performance by Deltaville right fielder Brian Martin to knock off Deltaville, 10-7, at Cannonballers Ballpark. Martin belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Julio Matias got credit for the save for Cottage City. It was his 2nd of the year. The last-place Cannonballers have won 4 straight games.

Cottage City first baseman Mario Lopez helped the Cannonballers go up, 8-7, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Lopez hit a run-scoring single off Deltaville pitcher Drew Yarussi.
