2021 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Fremont Ambassadors.

The Deltaville Deltas stymied the Fremont Ambassadors, 7-0, at Ballpark of Fremont. Brandon Gibson had a good day at the plate. He was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for Deltaville. Chris Pokorski earned the win to go to 3-2. He allowed no runs on 6 hits, with no walks and 4 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work.

With Deltaville leading 4-0 in the top of the eighth, Gibson batted against Fremont pitcher Jeff Lewis. Gibson hit a fastball to right for a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Deltas on top, 7-0.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Gibson.

At 44-58, Deltaville is in 4th place in the Northern A West Division.
