Stallions Lose By a Run at Santa Rosa
In a low-scoring affair between the Santa Rosa Desperados and the San Antonio Stallions, pitcher Justin Hesley was the difference between victory and defeat. The Santa Rosa right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Desperados win. John Salgado earned save number 10 this season. With the victory, the Desperados record stands at 64-37.

Shortstop Joe West made an impact for Santa Rosa, when he swatted a 2-run home run off Corey Alexander in the bottom of the fifth. For the contest, West was 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said San Antonio manager Logan Greening.
