The home crowd had a good time watching the Tyler Trolls and Glace Bay Miners get after it.

The Glace Bay Miners beat the Tyler Trolls, 9-2, at Miners Memorial Park. Glace Bay left fielder Jose Garza had the hot bat. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. With the win, Glace Bay goes to 65-36, while the Trolls fall to 48-53.

Kevin Sevener, who is tied for 6th in the N-A in runs scored with 56, aided the Glace Bay cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk.

"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager Will Brewer.
