Burm Socks 2 Homers in 4-3 Win

The Cottage City Cannonballers defeated the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks, 4-3, at Cannonballers Ballpark. Cottage City was led by 21-year old first baseman Bobby Burm, who hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Suk Moon picked up the win in relief for Cottage City, while Chris Soto took the loss. Despite the win, the Cannonballers have a lousy 27-70 record.
Burm had a timely hit for Cottage City in the bottom of the eighth. With Cottage City trailing 3-2, he turned a 1-1 curveball into a 2-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Cottage City.
"It was a pretty good night," said Burm.
