Rockets Get Past Newark, 6-5
Despite a great performance by Newark first baseman Brad Reynolds, the Huntsville Rockets defeated the Flyers by the score of 6-5 in 13 innings at Newark Fields. Reynolds went 5-6 with a double and 4 singles. He scored 2 times. The Rockets improved their record to 59-38 with the win over Newark.

Dusty Boynton provided a timely hit. The Huntsville shortstop delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the 13th inning to put the Rockets on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

In postgame comments, Boynton said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
