Capitals Lose By a Run at Newark
In a low-scoring contest between the Newark Flyers and the Tampa Capitals, Eddie Sarabia was the X factor. The Newark right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Newark reliever Steve Cripple picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Cristofer Sanchez absorbed the loss. Dustin Miller closed the door for Newark, picking up his 19th save of the year.

Jose Mora had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the seventh for Newark. He came through with a 2-run single to put Newark in front, 3-2.

"It was a solid team effort," said Mora after the game.

The Flyers sit in third place in the Northern A East Division with a record of 46-46.
