Grand Rapids Jet Hawks starter Eunice Bamberg pitched his team past the Santa Rosa Desperados, 1-0. Grand Rapids raised its record to 51-39 with the win.

The Jet Hawks got a big at-bat from second baseman Curt Holy. For the game, Holy went 1-3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 16th double of the season gave Grand Rapids a 1-0 lead.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Grand Rapids skipper Sadayuki Nishikawa.
