Cannonballers Losing Streak at 6 After Extra-Inning Loss to Stallions
The San Antonio Stallions had to overcome a big game from Cottage City shortstop Fei-hsien Liu to leave Cannonballers Ballpark with a victory. And they did, winning, 13-10, in 10 innings. Liu went 3 for 3 with 2 home runs, a double, and 3 walks, while scoring 5 runs and driving in 2. Cottage City now owns a losing streak of 6 games.

In the top of the tenth, 21-year old second baseman Michael Cruz delivered for San Antonio. That's when he belted a 3-run home run, putting the Stallions up, 13-10. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a climactic one.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Cruz told the San Antonio Daily News. "Whatever it takes."
