Losing Trend Continues for Deltaville
The first-place Glace Bay Miners took on the Deltaville Deltas in front of a spirited crowd.

The 8-2 Glace Bay win over Deltaville was due largely to Jerry Jones. The Miners right fielder went 1-2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Jim Handshoe, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2019 draft, earned the save for Glace Bay.

Keith DiPiazza, who is tied for 8th in the N-A in home runs with 19, came through for Glace Bay with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. The third baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 runs batted in.
