Deltas Pull Out Late Win, 7-6
Despite a great performance by Kansas City second baseman Ricky Cooper, the Deltaville Deltas defeated the Dust Devils by the score of 7-6 at Kansas City Grounds. Cooper went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Jason Ginty was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Armando Sanchez. Deltaville, with the win, sits at 26-66.

Deltaville used the timely hitting of Justin Husband to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Deltas on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Deltas manager Tyler Byrd. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
