Jet Hawks Win Nail-Biter in 13
Grand Rapids turned a good effort from starting pitcher Josh Williams into a win over the Huntsville Rockets at Jet Hawks Ballpark. The final score was 3-2 in 13 innings. Grand Rapids reliever Jim Unknown got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Alejandro Aguilar was tagged with the loss. Grand Rapids is now 56-33, while Huntsville is 53-36.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 13th, 23-year old first baseman Mike Hedger had a chance to be the hero. Huntsville pitcher Alejandro Aguilar wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Hedger grounded out, driving in 1 run. The Jet Hawks had themselves a thrilling win.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Hedger said.
