The Deltaville Deltas had their hands full with Kansas City Dust Devils starter Joey Russak, who frustrated Deltaville hitters while leading Kansas City to a comfortable, 13-1 win. Matt Griffin had a big 2-run home run for the Dust Devils in the bottom of the second inning. With Kansas City trailing 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from 20-year old left-handed pitcher Willie Krell and swatted a home run to left. It was his 6th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dust Devils ahead, 2-1.
