Casas Stellar as Jet Hawks Coast to 12-0 Win
|
The game between Grand Rapids and Kansas City is in the books, despite a little rain.
Grand Rapids starter Oscar Casas kept the Kansas City offense under clamps, while his team rolled to victory, 12-0. The Dust Devils, now 20-68, have lost 14 in a row.
Casas, a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, was dealing all game. He kept Kansas City hitters off-balance, while giving the Jet Hawks 7 quality innings. Casas threw 91 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 7.
