The Santa Rosa Desperados first baseman tore up the Deltaville Deltas to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Rogers Centre. The offensive onslaught from Fitzgerald powered the 12-6 Desperados win.

"Fitzgerald was a tough out," Deltaville manager Tyler Byrd said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."

Mike Fitzgerald hit a two-run home run off Alex Toro in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Eric Brouwer in the 9th.

Fitzgerald is currently batting .444 with 6 home runs and 12 RBIs.
