Jet Hawks Suffer 7-3 Road Loss
The home crowd had a good time watching the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks and St. Catharines Blue Jays get after it.

The St. Catharines Blue Jays topped the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks, 7-3, in Northern A action at Engineers Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to St. Catharines pitcher and Villa Bisonó, Dominican Republic, native Tony Vigil. The winner was Vigil. He threw 5.2 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Ben Wiggins.

The Blue Jays got a big at-bat from left fielder Terry Chapin. For the game, Chapin was 1-4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave St. Catharines a 2-0 lead.

St. Catharines is now 54-32, Grand Rapids 54-32.
