Desperados Need Extra Innings to Top Capitals, 6-5
The Santa Rosa Desperados and Tampa Capitals played an entertaining game for Capitals Ballpark patrons.

Tampa got a terrific game from catcher Allen McColl. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Santa Rosa, 6-5. McColl slugged 2 home runs. The Desperados now own a record of 55-31.

Bryan Erck hit a run-scoring triple off Gabe Thomas in the top of the tenth, which put the Desperados in front, 6-5. Erck had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Erck said.
