Rockets Deal Cannonballers 4-3 Loss
|
Eric Mohr was locked in. The left-hander led the Huntsville Rockets to a 4-3 win against the Cottage City Cannonballers at Cannonballers Ballpark. Mohr, now 2-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. Picking up the save was Mike Watts. He's now 3 for 6 in save chances.
Huntsville relied on the bat of Ricky Martinez to get the win. The right fielder ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rockets ahead, 3-2. For the game, Martinez had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

The win elevated the Rockets to 44-42.
