The Tampa Capitals weathered an outstanding game by Fremont left fielder Ryan Willin to topple the Ambassadors, 10-9. Willin was 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Tampa is 5th in the Northern A East Division with a record of 35-48.

Timely hitting helped the Capitals beat the Ambassadors. Prime example: the two-out single Jim Unknown registered in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Joe Ault, Unknown gave his team the lead, 10-9, when he hit a run-scoring single.
