Tapia Helps Desperados Beat Dust Devils, 12-5
A 4-RBI performance from first baseman Jordan Tapia, who is tied for 8th in the N-A in bases on balls with 39, led the Santa Rosa Desperados to a win over the Kansas City Dust Devils, 12-5. Santa Rosa starter Dave Kramer was credited with the win after throwing 78 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 4-3. The last-place Dust Devils have lost 8 straight games.

Gary Nahum had a big 2-run double for the Desperados in the bottom of the second inning. With Santa Rosa leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Simon Peretti and swatted a double to center. It was his 12th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Desperados ahead, 3-0.
