Tyler pitcher Bobby Williams had a large part in his team beating the Deltaville Deltas, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Justin Pratt got the save, the 10th for him this season. Tyler raised its record to 41-37 with the win.

Tyler won the game in part because of Chris McCullough. The right fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Trolls ahead, 3-0. For the game, McCullough had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
