Rockets Make It 4 Straight with 5-3 Win
The Huntsville Rockets stopped the Newark Flyers, 5-3, behind an impressive performance from Javier Gamboa. The 26-year old first baseman made life miserable for Newark pitching. He was 2-4 with 2 singles. He scored 2 times. The second-place Rockets have won 4 straight games.

With Huntsville leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Gamboa hit a run-scoring single off Newark hurler Mike Crain. It was the 10th hit of the season for Gamboa and put his team ahead, 2-0.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Huntsville manager Alec Roller.
