Stallions Win at Home, 9-6
The San Antonio Stallions overcame a good performance by Grand Rapids second baseman Chris Swain to knock off Grand Rapids, 9-6, at Alamo Field. Swain was 2-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Mario Acosta claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. His record stands at 2-2. Kevin McGaha, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 10th save.

Cody Yeager had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the seventh for San Antonio. With the bases loaded and the Stallions leading 6-5, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

Yeager told the San Antonio Daily News: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."

The Stallions go to 31-47 with the win.
