Glace Bay Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Carson
The Kansas City Dust Devils besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Glace Bay third baseman Craig Carson by beating the Miners, 11-10, at Miners Memorial Park. Carson went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Mario Paruzzi notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 2-1. Earning his 1st save of the year was Mike Stone.
