Blue Jays Lose to Desperados in Walk-Off
The Santa Rosa Desperados faced a tough opponent in St. Catharines pitcher Travis Anderson, but still scratched out a win at Keelhaulers Ballpark by a final score of 3-2 in 10 innings. Anderson went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. The Santa Rosa win streak is now 3 games.

Batting in the bottom of the tenth, 19-year old second baseman Pete Horne had a real shot to win the game. St. Catharines pitcher Mike Dineen was determined not to let it happen. But with one out, Horne hit a run-scoring single. The Desperados had a walk-off triumph.

Horne attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
