Desperados Walk It Off for 61st Win of Season
The Santa Rosa Desperados took Kyle Sandor's best shot and still were able to collect a win at Keelhaulers Ballpark. The final score had Santa Rosa getting past the Flyers, 6-5, in 24 innings. Sandor over 6 innings allowed 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 6. Santa Rosa reliever Idhma Kodandarami snagged the win, upping his record to 6-0. Kevin Irons shouldered the loss. Santa Rosa is now 61-15, while Newark is 52-24.

The Desperados got a clutch hit from designated hitter Bryan Erck. In the bottom of the 24th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Desperados.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Santa Rosa manager Carlos Acevedo.
