Ambassadors Earn Win with Late Rally
In a low-scoring contest between the Fremont Ambassadors and the Glace Bay Miners, John McClements was the X factor. The Fremont right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. Fremont occupies 4th place in the Northern A West Division at 30-44.

The Ambassadors got a clutch hit from left fielder Mike Ross. In the bottom of the ninth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Ambassadors.

"The old adage is true," said McClements. "Good pitching stops good hitting."
