Ambassadors Take Tight Tilt, 4-3
The Glace Bay Miners could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Josh Parrish into a win. Instead, the Fremont Ambassadors prevailed, 4-3. Parrish threw 5.2 innings of shutout ball. Fremont reliever Tony Hendrix picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Nate Berkley took the loss. The Ambassadors, at 29-43, have now won 4 straight.

Fremont took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, when Justin Steltenpohl hit a clutch grand slam home run to bring Ambassadors fans to their feet.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Steltenpohl told the Fremont Herald.
