Engineers Ballpark was the site for Northern A action featuring the St. Catharines Blue Jays and Tampa Capitals.

The Tampa Capitals topped the St. Catharines Blue Jays by a score of 11-4. Leading the way was first baseman Rob Beall. Beall went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the Capitals. Keegan Flay sewed up the save, his 1st.

Tampa used the bat of Ronnie Arceri to get the win. The catcher spanked a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Capitals ahead, 6-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it altered the outcome.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Beall told the Tampa Times.

The Capitals improved to 28-40.
