The Santa Rosa Desperados took Deltaville pitcher Willie Krell's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Rogers Centre. The final score had Santa Rosa getting past the Deltas, 2-0. Krell went 5.1 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 6. Santa Rosa goes to 41-25, Deltaville to 30-36.

Santa Rosa used a clutch hit from Rafael Farrand to get the win. The center fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Desperados ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Farrand, "and then get after it again."
