Tampa Wins, 7-5, Behind 2 Went Home Runs

The Tampa Capitals defeated the Deltaville Deltas, 7-5, at Rogers Centre. Leading the charge for Tampa was first baseman Aaron Went. He went 4-5 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Cristofer Sanchez picked up the win, lifting his record to 3-6 on the season. He struck out 5 and walked 2 in 7 innings, while yielding 5 runs. The Deltas, now 16-47, have lost 12 in a row.
