|
A good performance from center fielder Julio Pacheco helped the Tyler Trolls defeat the Kansas City Dust Devils, 7-4. Pacheco went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Trolls. Joe Bettencourt notched his 3rd save in 3 chances. With the victory, the Trolls upped their record to 34-31.
Dane Hove drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate for Tyler. With two out and the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, Hove had a clutch at-bat. Facing Kansas City hurler Josh DeYoe, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Trolls a 5-4 lead.
