Trolls Come Up Short at St. Catharines, 3-2
|
Dylan Bell propelled his team to victory over the Tyler Trolls. The final score was 3-2, St. Catharines. Randy Nitchals got credit for the save for St. Catharines. It was his 4th of the year. St. Catharines is now 37-26.
In the bottom of the sixth, St. Catharines third baseman Nick Makar put his team on top. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit his 7th home run of the year. Tyler pitcher Duncan Kroon served it up. Just like that, the Blue Jays were ahead, 3-2.
"Dylan's a gamer," said St. Catharines manager Freddy Coss. "Glad he's on our side."
