Santa Rosa Makes It 6 Straight with 7-4 Win
Santa Rosa left fielder Mike Gallant contributed significantly to his team's 7-4 win over the St. Catharines Blue Jays. Gallant, who is tied for 6th in the N-A in doubles with 16, went 4 for 5 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Desperados. Kelly Powell picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Mike Dineen suffered the loss. The Desperados, at 53-12, have now won 6 straight.

Gallant won the game for Santa Rosa when he homered off Mike Dineen in the bottom of the ninth.

"This is a very good team," said Gallant. "We have the chance to do something special."
