Blue Jays Defeated, 6-4, After Huntsville Rallies
St. Catharines got a decent performance from pitcher Juan Martinez, but it wasn't enough to beat the Huntsville Rockets. Huntsville won the Engineers Ballpark contest, 6-4. Martinez threw 6.1 innings allowing 3 runs for the losing team. Jason McCoart, 5-4, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. Tim Surber wrapped it up, recording his 1st save.

Mike Ellis came through with a big-time hit for Huntsville. The second baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Ellis.

The third-place Blue Jays have lost 5 consecutive games.
