The Tyler Trolls dealt the Tampa Capitals a 5-3 loss at Trolls Field. Chris Espinoza was the star on offense. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The win was credited to 23-year old right-handed pitcher Yuji Nakagawa in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Aaron Kent took the loss. Earning his 6th save of the year was Justin Pratt.

Tyler took advantage of an error in the bottom of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 3-3, when Shane Andes hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Trolls in front, 4-3.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Espinoza, "and then get after it again."

Tyler is now 34-28, Tampa 32-30.
