Multi-HR Game for Donaghy in 5-4 Win
Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Glace Bay Miners and St. Catharines Blue Jays.

Glace Bay beat St. Catharines at Engineers Ballpark, escaping with a 5-4 win. The win in large part was due to right fielder Cory Donaghy. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Reliever Jamal Jones picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Richard Dill, who is tied for 6th in the N-A in strikeouts with 73, took the loss.

Donaghy broke a deadlock in the top of the ninth inning, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run, putting Glace Bay up, 5-4.

Glace Bay manager Angel Cano commended his team for "bagging a nice win."

The 4th-place Miners have won 4 consecutive games.
