3-0 Win Sends Santa Rosa to 38-22
|
In a low-scoring clash between Santa Rosa and Grand Rapids, pitcher John Manship was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned praise for his performance in the 3-0 Desperados win. The save went to Shissho Matsuno, number 9 for him. The Desperados bumped their record to 38-22 with this latest triumph.
The Desperados got a big at-bat from center fielder Greg Biever. For the game, Biever went 1 for 4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Santa Rosa a 2-0 lead.
