In a tight contest at Cannonballers Ballpark, the Cottage City Cannonballers edged the Glace Bay Miners by the score of 5-4. Cottage City third baseman Javon Johnson, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Cottage City reliever Alex Alvarez picked up the win to move to 1-2. Joel Edmondson suffered the loss.
