Rockets Get Plucky, 3-2 Win Over Dust Devils
Both offenses were relatively subdued at Kansas City Grounds. Fortunately for the Huntsville Rockets, though, Vinny Torres was able to deliver in the clutch. He was 3-5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 3, to lead his team past the Kansas City Dust Devils, 3-2. Luke Walley earned his 10th save, after closing out the game. The win hiked the Huntsville record to 37-24.

Huntsville used the timely hitting of Nick Springer to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rockets on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Torres said his team "played with focus and determination."
