Dust Devils Need Extra Frames to Get Past Deltas
Danny Budzisz did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the Deltaville Deltas an extra-inning, 12-11 loss to the Kansas City Dust Devils at Rogers Centre. Budzisz was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The Dust Devils saw their record improve to 29-29.

Kansas City used the timely hitting of Francisco Flores to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Dust Devils on top, 12-11. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We had a chance to win," said Deltaville manager Tyler Byrd, "but we didn't get it done."
