Deltas Rally For Late Win Over Rockets
Benefiting from Doug Stewart's productive game, the Deltaville Deltas downed the Huntsville Rockets, 6-4. Stewart went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Deltas. Logan Penny locked down his 1st save. The Deltas, at 24-34, inhabit 5th place in the Northern A West Division.

It could have been a different outcome for Deltaville, had it not been for Ron Davis, the 22-year old catcher . Davis contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Deltaville up, 5-4.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Stewart told the Deltaville Observer.
