The Santa Rosa Desperados beat the Huntsville Rockets, 6-3, at Ballpark of Austin. Santa Rosa right fielder Rafael Rodriguez had an outstanding performance. He was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Jim Hart recorded the save, his 8th. At 25-34, the Desperados are currently 5th in the Northern A East Division.

Craig Booker aided the Santa Rosa cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth. For the game, the left fielder was 1-4.
