Jet Hawks Capture Close Win
The Grand Rapids Jet Hawks eked out a 3-2 win versus the St. Catharines Blue Jays at Jet Hawks Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Eunice Bamberg. He was terrific. With the win, the Jet Hawks have a record of 33-20.

Rick Gruber was the walk-off hero for Grand Rapids. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Jet Hawks left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Eunice's as tough as he is talented," said Grand Rapids manager Sadayuki Nishikawa.
