The Huntsville Rockets got a superb performance from third baseman Curt Lirette, but the Deltaville Deltas still won the game, 4-3. Lirette went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The loss makes Huntsville 30-21.

The Deltas got a big hit from pinch hitter Elijah Harris. In the bottom of the sixth, Harris smacked a 3-run home run off Huntsville pitcher Steve Gallagher. It was his 6th home run of the season. Suddenly, the Deltas were ahead, 4-2.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Huntsville skipper Alec Roller, "and it cost us."
