Tyler got a decent performance from pitcher Arturo Feliciano, but it wasn't enough to beat the Newark Flyers. Newark won the Trolls Field contest, 6-4. Feliciano threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. By defeating Tyler, the third-place Flyers improved to 29-19.

Newark used a clutch hit from Chris Huseman to get the win. The third baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Flyers ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

Huseman offered a curt "no comment" when asked to discuss the win after the game.
