The Huntsville Rockets got a stellar effort from pitcher Joe Brackett, helping Huntsville score a win over the visiting San Antonio Stallions, 4-2. Huntsville reliever Dan Dean got the win, raising his record to 1-3. Miguel Aguirre was tagged with the loss. Earning his 10th save for Huntsville was Joseph Scale.

Huntsville took a 4-2 lead on Mike Bell's 1st double of the season. The 2-run double, which Bell hit in the bottom of the eighth, left San Antonio pitcher Miguel Aguirre visibly frustrated.

"We had a good game plan," Brackett said, "and we were able to execute it."

The second-place Rockets are now 25-25, the Stallions 30-20.
